There are 3 top-level decisions – this one will manage how often the mobile device requests a reading from a Satellite –

the impact is the accuracy of tracking, control, and battery burn.

The lower the number of seconds between readings the higher the battery burn will be.

This top-level decision will govern everything else – Although this system is capable of real-time tracking, most of our clients use 8 seconds to balance the accuracy and battery maintenance.
